More than 300 volunteers work at Auckland War Memorial Museum and support the treasures of our collections, the importance of the War Memorials and the unique cultural heritage represented by the Museum.
The volunteers of AM represent our museum and our city. We hope to reflect the diversity of our communities by having volunteers from all walks of life. The AM volunteer programme welcomes applications from a variety of backgrounds - different cultural and ethnic groups, a wide age range, rainbow communities, long standing Aucklanders and new Aucklanders alike.
Volunteering is about time, dedication, skills and aroha. If you have these attributes and wish to give back to your community, volunteering at AM may be for you.
Every year we recruit a number of volunteers to work on our Information Desk stations.
