We currently have a need for more volunteers to work on our Information Desk at the entrance to the Museum. If you enjoy meeting people and helping them to make the most of their time in the Museum, you could become a member of our large volunteer team. We need energetic people with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to help others. A good knowledge of Auckland is also valuable.

The normal commitment is for one half day per week on duty, and lasting at least a year, but preferably longer. After training, you would be rostered for a regular half day shift per week. We are particularly looking for applicants who can do weekends and school holidays, or who can be flexible with their availability. The Museum is open every day except Christmas day, including school holiday periods and public holidays.
