Teunga faiva. Dance costume. This teunga is the top half of a full dance costume. It is a bodice with a base of ngatu (bark cloth) and oyster shells sewn on as embellishment. Teunga faiva are worn during cultural performances, this particular one is for a female. The village or particular dance that this teunga was for has not been identified.
