Carving

Carving. This knot of wood is dark brown, circular in shape with a hollow midsection. The base of the knot is circular and then the wood opens outwards out towards the top, the front facing side is carved into the shape of a face. This piece of wood was found by prisoners who were making a road through the bush near R L Stevenson's grave.
