Majority of plaiting strips natural undyed fibre other strips dyed-green and dyed-purple. Purple is faded though stronger colour on inside. Twilled twos vertical except for a narrow band at top and at bottom of horizontal twilled twos. Flat six-ply braided handles the ends of which are incorporated into upper part of basket and end shredded to form decoraitive tufts.
