The 158th Annual General Meeting of the Auckland Museum Institute will be held on Tuesday 17 November 2026, at 5.30PM. All paid members of the Auckland Museum Institute are welcome to attend and to participate.
The AGM is an opportunity to learn more about the direction of both the Institute and the Museum, with reports from the Institute Council, the Auckland Museum Trust Board and the Auckland Museum leadership team.
Papers for the AGM will be accessible via the Auckland Museum Institute Key Resources webpage, and sent to paid members ahead of the night.

The Royal Society Te Apārangi's roadshow is coming to Auckland, and all Institute Members are invited. Join us at the Auckland Museum Auditorium to hear an update on recent initiatives, meet the Society and share your views.
It’s also a chance to hear from local Branch members and Constituent Organisations, and to discuss how we can work together to show the value of research and science, raise its profile in wider society and identify new areas of collaboration.
