Our newly renovated Te Ao Mārama South Atrium is home to Hokohoko, the transformed Museum Store. Our store carries an extensive range of products including – wood carvings, pounamu (greenstone), weaving, jewellery, ceramics, glass, wall art, sculpture, gifts for kids and much more.
You can shop online here, but be sure to visit us on your next outing to the Museum to see the full range. We're open until 8.30PM every Tuesday as part of the Museum's Twilight Tuesdays (and don't forget, we have undercover parking!).
Every purchase you make helps us look after our treasures and bring history to life. The items you'll find in our store have been carefully selected to connect with our collections and support the Museum's role as a war memorial. We are passionate about supporting and showcasing our local artists and designers.
Whether you've come in to pick up a memento for yourself, a gift for a loved one, or are just inspired to browse after visiting the Museum, you'll find what you're looking for in the Museum Store. And if you're overwhelmed by choice, just ask our dedicated staff to help you find the perfect thing.

Bernal is a Chilean-born, Auckland-based jewellery designer renowned for her Maca Links which she pioneered in 2015.
“Links” carry the core qualities of interactivity, accessibility and fun. Combining technology with manual processes, Bernal has crafted each of these geometric shaped links through wax modelling and 3D printing, which she casts in coloured resins. Her unapologetic, bold colour choices are evidence of her proud Latin American heritage.
All links are interchangeable, allowing the lucky owner to activate their differences by putting together their own piece, with or without a cord.
Bernal's interest is in the way we can expand our perceptions of manual and technological processes, and through this, re-evaluate our cultural attitudes toward value and preciousness.
Uniquely beautiful and mindfully handcrafted jewellery.
