LATE 2016: The Music Machine
Music is a shared experience. How do fans and critics influence musicians and how can an audience – both online and offline – shape an album? Hear about the relationships between musicians and their fans and critics from some of New Zealand music’s sharpest minds.
Chaired by Charlotte Ryan, your expert panel for the evening features director of Saiko Management Scott Maclachlan, bass player to many Chip Matthews, four time Silver Scroll Award finalist Anna Coddington and James Milne, one of New Zealand's finest songwriters better known by his stage name Lawrence Arabia.
Volume: Making Music in Aotearoa will be open for a LATE-night viewing. To conclude the evening, you will enjoy a 25-minute whistle-stop tour through the history of NZ music performed by special guests.
Enjoy panoramic views of Auckland City from the Museum’s level three Event Centre, a delicious menu created by the chefs at Dawsons Catering, and a selection of drinks at the bar.

Also featuring the magnificent voices of Auckland Youth Choir.
