silk satin cloth with lace edging, printed polychrome illustrations: sphinx, pyramids and camel at centre, with border comprising oval portraits of leaders and draped flags of allied nations (Belgium, Egypt, France, Great Britain, Russia, Italy, Serbia), roses between flags, with printed title on scroll below: Souvenir of Egypt, embroidered message at lower edge: "With best love from Len"
