To celebrate the first year the Lantern Festival was hosted at the Domain, we brought a full schedule of events for everyone on the day from performances of the Lion Dance, Guangdong-style music and puppetry bringing Chinese legends to life to viewing Chinese jade objects from the Museum's collection and experiencing sessions in Chinese calligraphy.
We're looking to be bigger and better than ever in February 2017, bringing you more storytelling and music, and celebrating in conjunction with our special exhibition 华夏人與长白云故乡 Being Chinese in Aotearoa: a photographic journey.
