Women's March on Washington
Image supplied by Auckland Museum staff
On Saturday 21 January 2017, people across Aotearoa came together to march in support of the Women’s March on Washington.
Over 1000 Aucklanders took to the streets forming part of a global protest that drew an estimated 5 million participants worldwide, across all 7 continents.
It is important that we document and archive the protest, and the subsequent dialogue for the benefit of future generations, so Auckland Museum is appealing to members of the public who attended Saturday’s march to donate their protest ephemera - signs, placards, banners, flyers etc.
We are looking for material that reflects a distinctly Auckland/Aotearoa perspective on the protest as well as material from expat Americans living in Auckland.

Thank you very much for all your valued submissions; we no longer require any further material relating to this event.
