Visitors came face-to-face with New Zealand's incredible underwater life at Auckland Museum's free marine exhibition.
Two years in the making, and developed in partnership with top marine experts, the exhibition used cutting edge technologies and specimens from the Museum's collections to tell the stories of what is happening in the world under the water.

Visitors to Moana - My Ocean were able to:
travel through five zones from the shores of the east coast through to the unknown waters of the Kermadec trench and up to the Kermadec Islands.
Put themselves in the midst of a mid-ocean boil-up and, through the use of artificial intelligence.
Explore a tiny holdfast dubbed an underwater apartment and see it teeming with life through the power of augmented reality.
Journey into the largest living space on the planet - midwater.
