Things to note before booking

  • The tour includes stairs and is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.
  • A moderate fitness level is required.
  • This is an outdoor event so dressing for the weather on the day is highly advised.
  • Flat, closed-toe shoes with good grip must be worn, and long trousers covering the ankles are recommended. If ticket holders have still not adhered to wearing correct footwear on the day, they will not be able to join the tour.
  • All bags must be checked into lockers and umbrellas are not permitted on the Museum roof.

Inclement weather cancellation

  • In the case of severe weather, heavy rain or strong winds, the tour will be cancelled and our team will contact you to rebook onto another date, or organise a refund. We will notify all ticket holders by 9AM of any cancellations.
