    6th March 1890 Public - Dale - Researcher - 3 November 2018 - Search of records in Junee, New South Wales, Australia, by members of the Junee Heritage Museum. Pte Knight holds a position on the the Junee's Roll of Honour as this was his Place of Association at the time of his enlistment in the Australian Imperial Forces on the 22nd of August 1914. It is noted that, in addition to being the 1st New Zealander to be killed at Gallipoli, he was also the first NSW Railwayman to be killed in WWI.
