  • To our great great & great, great, great Uncle. Although we never new you we are forever grateful in our hearts and souls for what you gave for us so we can live in a better world. We will be forever in your debt for the ultimate sacrifice you paid. We will ensure your name lives on forever within our family.

  • A moment to honour my great uncle Joseph Stanley Marsden. As a family no one knew about this fine young man who was killed 4th Oct 1917 in Belguim. His younger brother [my grandfather] nor my father ever spoke to us about him. So it is with sadness and much pride that we finally can get to acknowledge his life. He left his young wife of six days, never to return and live a life that we today take for granted. Although he had no children of his own he is survived by more than fifty great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. R.I.P Uncle Stan.
