  • To my loving grandfather whom I still remember even though you passed away in 1967. I found your medals in Mama's suitcase 20 years after she decided she had better join you in 1990. I had then 'refurbished' 4 years ago and Mum, your daughter now aged 75 years old, comes to Hamilton wearing your medals with pride. Mum recounts stories of when she was in Girl Guides in Rarotonga and marched with you during ANZAC parade. We have your certificate and I will get it 'fixed'. I got your photo redone and all of the family now have a copy of you in your uniform.
