  • Kia ora Koro. I am the 3rd daughter of your youngest Son, Kere Wally Meta. Sadly, we (your Mokopuna) never got the pleasure to meet you. We are having no luck in finding out our/ your Whakapapa, you are a bit of a mystery... the more I hit a dead end, the more I want to know about you. We are very proud to know that you were a member of the Maori Battalion, I remember singing that song at school. I will keep looking for myself and our Whanau. Arohamai Koro XXX
