  • Nga mihi aroha ki a koe toku whangai Papa. It's nice to be able to come on here and leave a tribute to you. I wish I had known more about your servcie in the army while growing up but that was one thing you never ever spoke about. It's not until my later years that we realize how important it is. Anyway dad, i buried your medals with you and I regret doing that, young and dumb back then, so I have have connected with someone who will be able to get me copies so I can wear them proudly at the dawn services.

Rest in peace dad, , l
