    Embarked Auckland, 18 December 1915; disembarked Plymouth, England, 18 February 1916.
    Proceeded overseas to France, 19 March 1916.
    Admitted to 14th Field Ambulance, 26 May 1916 (shell shock); transferred to Divisional Rest Station, 1 June 1916; rejoined unit from hospital, 3 June 1916.
    Admitted to 42nd Field Ambulance, 4 July 1916 (debility); transferred same day to 14th Divisional Rest Station; to Convalescent Depot, Havre, 11 July 1916; to Base Depot, Etaples, 16 July 1916.
    Detached to Segregation Camp,25 July 1916.
    Detached to Headquarters, 1st Anzac Pioneer Bn, in the field, 25 September 1916, and attached to Sanitary Section, Bailleul, 25 September 1916.
    Attached to No 4 Section, B Echelon, 24 October 1916.
    Admitted to 104th Field Ambulance, 2 November 1916 (influenza); transferred to Divisional Rest Station, 5 November 1916; to No 2 Casualty Clearing Station, 6 November 1916.
