  • b. 1897 Hori Tangaere was born in Tokomaru Bay, son of Runaha WAIRAKAU (mother) & his ½ brother was Rawhiti PARATA of Tokomaru Bay. His medals were sent to Hone Paerata TANGAERE of Tokomaru Bay
    March 1918 - Casualty list. No. 195 shows that Tangaere Hori, of the Maori Contingent, died of sickness in New Zealand on March 16. His, next of kin is Mrs. Mere Ratapu, Hikiwai, Tokomaru Bay Public - Lorraine M - Researcher - 11 January 2016 - Research
