    In a casualty list of last week appeared the name Trooper. J N Williams, Auckland Battalion, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles.- He was a son of Colonel R. Williams, V D, Dorsetshire Englahd, a member of the British House of Commons.
    Trooper J. N. Williams was educated at Eton and was an enthusiastic croket player, and visited, New 'Zealand some years ago with Lord .Hawkes' cricket team, later spending a couple of years on the East Coast stations, where he had many friends.
