    • Allan Willicombe was the son of Agnes Perry (formerly Willicombe), of Collinwood, Nelson, New Zealand, and the late William Willicombe.

      New Zealand at the Front (a magazine written and published and illustrated in France by men of the New Zealand Division), 1917, p.141. AWMM
    • Brother of Lance Corporal Cuthbert William Willicombe : NZEF Service # 65498 - Otago Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, NZEF - who was killed in action 23 October 1918 at Bapaume, France.
      Both Allan and Cuthbert Willicombe are remembered at their birth place - on the Collingwood War Memorial, Collingwood Township, Tasman District, Nelson Region.
      The brothers are also remembered on the World War 1 Wall of Remembrance at Founders Park, Nelson City. Public - Jenifer - Researcher - 30 August 2018 - Researcher
    • Allan, and his brother Cuthbert, were half-brothers to Private David Arthur Percy : NZEF Service # 10/3055. David Percy was the son of their Mother Agnes to her 2nd husband.
      David Percy was born 20 November 1892 - at Collingwood, Tasman District, Nelson Region.
      Private David Percy served Egypt (1915-1916); France & Belgium (1916-1917-1918). Private Percy survived war service and he returned home to New Zealand.
