  • I am one of Frederick Ernest's great grand-daughters. I have no information about him apart from knowing that he died as a result of the war - gas poisoning is my understanding. He left my great nana with six boys to bring up on her own - no easy task especially in those days. Nana lived in the house in Kingsland until her death.

  • We live in Frederick's widows house in Kingsland. Our daughter will be paying a tribute to him at the local school this ANZAC day.

  • Frederick Ernest Morris is my late Nana's brother so that makes him my great Uncle. My Nana's name was Mabel Hilda Evelyn Curry (nee Morris). I am delighted to find Frederick Morris' details. My Mother, Olga, Mabel's daughter, passed in April last year at the grand old age of 96 years. I hope to visit the Memorial at some time in the future. Have left a poppy for Uncle Fred. My Mum's brother was named Frederick too, so I think that is possibly the link. My Mum was the last remaining member of her family, on both sides, paternal and maternal.

  • So thrilled to have found all the details about my Great grandfather.
