    • William Anderson Murray was born 5 Dec, 1869, Thames, New Zealand. NZBDM # 1869/16174 Public - Jen - Other Relative - 5 April 2015 - William 'Anderson' Murray acquired his middle name by adding it himself as there were several William Murray's enlisted. While doing our family history, he was hard to find in official records due to this. William worked for the Waitanga Gold Mining Company in Thames pre war. He married Sarah Anne Potter in Paeroa 4 Nov, 1892.
