    • Plaque and Maori statue in the native forest on a hill overlooking Paradise Valley Springs in Rotorua. Hard to find! Also mentioned on the plaque is his Cousin Blake Scott who died in an airforce accident in Taihape 1942. Public - Dave - Researcher - 6 March 2021 - I have seen it in person and have photos of the plaque and the statue.

My name is Keira Annabella Hewitt my birthday is on the April 6 2006. My middle name comes from my nana and she is married to your nephew Robert Martin. He is named after you. My Aunty is where you sister lived in Paradise Valley. my mummy grew up on the farm we all miss it now because we live in town now where it is closer to my school my mummy goes to the same school as me she teaches grad two classes. nice talking to you uncle and I hope nana and poppa martin are well and can you say hi to them for my mummy she misses them sometimes. Thank you uncle for looking after us when you went to war. Love Keira
