  • First of all, thank you, Koro, for my dad. Second, thank you for having the courage to go and do what you felt was right and give your life so that I may live in relative peace. I know you were there when I came to visit where you lay, under imposing Monte Cassino. Thank you for sending us to Hotel La Pace where we eventually met Kay, who took us to Sora and took us along the route you and your soldiers walked. It was an honour to be in your presence on June 2 2014 and lay down some flowers that I picked along the way (puha included!) Arohanui.
