  • Dear Grand Uncle Kingi, We never met, but my nana - Mereana Henare Currie (nee Tahiwi), told me stories of you. She loved you so much and I remember growing up seeing your photo on her mantle piece my entire life. No doubt you and my Nana have become reacquainted in heaven, (she passed some years ago) I just wanted to say hello and let you know that you are not forgotten, that your memory lives on, first with my Nana and her children, and then her grandchildren of which I am one, and now from me to my son, and now onto my grand-daughter (who has yet to make an appearance - due Jan 2017).
