  • I by accident stumbled across this page.
    I am a collateral descendant to Papa Karipori as I descend from his sister Nohoroa Hongara.
    One of Nohoroa's children was named after the cemetery where Karipori lies her name is Halfaya Sollum better known as Aunty Faye.
    It is with much sadness that I reflect on the sacrifices that were made and of all that was taken from whanau. The loss of our brothers, our uncles, our Papa, our Leaders.
