Kia ora. Koro Stewart Hook is my nans brother and my nan is Miriama Hapi (nee Hook). This year, in 2020 there are no public Anzac services due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but Kiwis have been asked to attend a virtual dawn service to commemorate those who have served. Everyday I am thankful to Koro Stewart and all the veterans who fought for us. Ka maumahara tonu tātou ki a rātou. We will remember them xx

My Dad Stewart Egypt Smith was named after Stewart Hook. My dad is buried at the Walker cemetery in Nuhaka and We have a memorial plaque at the base of my dads headstone.

My Mother Caroline Hook Manuirirangi was his sister

This is my father's uncle. His name is Stewart Manu. He is the son of Stewart Hook's sister Caroline Manu but was Caroline Hook before marriage. Do not know much because nan has passed on but thanks for what you did Stewart Hook. LEST WE FORGET!!!

A poppy for my Koro Stewart Hook. His sister, Miriam Hook (Babs), was my maternal grandmother. My dear mum who very recently passed was Ahenata Pingao Dwyer (nee Walker), my maternal grandfather was Sydney Walker

Kia ora. Koro Stewart is my grandmothers brother. Miriama Hook (Nanny mummy) is my grandmother. She married my koro (Nanny daddy) Matenga Hapi. I grew up in Wairoa, Whakaki and Nuhaka. Hoping to one day travel to Bolsena Cemetery where Koro Stewart lays. xxoox

This is my mothers uncle. Her name is Hiraina Hook. Daughter to Rewi Mangu Hook and Dinah Hook. I do not know much about my family as we have grown up elsewhere away from Whakaki. Much love and respect to my family.
