- Obituary
- Kirk.—ln loving memory of my dear son, Cpt. Jack Kirk, who was killed in action at Faenza (Italy), on the 15th December, 1944.
In his lonely grave, far away under Italian skies,
Sleeps our beloved son Jack.
Oh, how we miss his loving ways,
His helping hand across the weary miles.
Remember with a mother s pride,
Of how he lived and nobly died.
He did his duty nobly and paid the Supreme Sacrifice
so that we may live in peace and security.
You’ll never leave us dear Jackie,
Deep in our hearts you are living yet.
And ever will till we meet again.
We love you too dearly to ever forget.
—Loved and always remembered by his mum and dadPublic - Lorraine Mona - Researcher - 18 July 2023 - ROLL OF HONOUR IN MEMORIAM
