    • Hulton had two brothers, Campbell and Henry, who also served during World War 2. AWMM
    • There were seven brothers who served in WW2, Campbell (JHC) Hulton 18th Bn 4th Brigade - wounded Western desert, POW in Italy and repatriated to NZ. Blethyn Hulton served in the Pacific with the Australian division. Meredith (Bill) Hulton 22nd Bn 5th Brigade, casualty in Crete and evacuated to NZ, Henry (Bonnie) Hulton 3rd Echelon 3rd Division NZEF served in Pacific. T. Norman Hulton 7 FDE Engineers 2nd Echelon, served in Greece, Crete and Western Desert - POW in Italy & Germany. Fergus Hulton, Fighter pilot RNZAF, killed in air accident 5 May 1943, and Douglas Hulton, 24th Bn 6th Brigade served in Middle Eat and Italy.
