  • As descendants of the Cox family, we thank you Capt Edward Percy Cox, for your valued efforts in WW1. Thankfully, along with your brothers, Cecil Turnley Cox and Stuart Leslie Cox, you survived the war. Sadly, your other brothers. . . George Turnley Cox, Mervyn Francis Cox and Norman Davidson Cox, did not survive. Six sons of Edward George and Louisa Cox of Wanganui, NZ. Formerly of Melbourne, Australia. Edward George Cox being the son of John Francis Cox & Lavinia Annie Turnley of Hobart, Tasmania and then Melbourne. We will always remember you all. Patricia Egerton, Brisbane, Australia

  • Don't know if we are related, but my dad is Brian Cox, born in hawera in 1940, so may be a chance we are related. Have been in the RNZIR myself and have some appreciation of what these great men sacrificed for us. so would just like to say Thankyou from myself and every other New Zealander for his Fantastic contribution and sacrifice for us. Cheers Kevin Cox
