  • Another of our granduncles who served along with his brother Tuakanakore for their country, and the mana of their tupuna and iwi. Sadly only one brother returned, and the other one remained at Gallipolli. However, fortunately the creator did return you home to the hau kainga, and for that we are eternally grateful. Tiare lost his eye in battle, and was affectionately known as Charlie bungeye untill his earthy departure in 1960! e te tupuna, kore rawa hoki koe e warewaretia! Arohanui rawa atu.
