  • A special tribute to our Koro Tamihana Kopae, my Dad's Father. My siblings and I never met him because he passed away when my Dad was just a child. Apparently he died in NZ in the flu epidemic after returning from the war. It makes me sad that we never met you but I am sure we would have been close, just like I am with my mokopuna today. We will never forget you our Koro. Arohatino nui, Your moko, Mate Heitia (nee Kopae)
