  • Kia Ora Ataahua my name is Barbara Waipapa Lois Rawnsley and I am one of many granddaughters of Te Roha Waitai Kerepe Kena who fought in World War I along with his comrades to bring world peace. Thinking of you on this day grandad and sending love to you with remembrance of you remains in my heart always and forever.

  • Kia ora I am Ngawai Kena a mokopuna (grand-daughter) of Te Roa Kena. Our whanau acknowledge all our brave vets that gave up so much and lost more than we could ever imagine. I am grateful to my Koro Te Roa Kena and all his comrades that contributed toward our freedom we get to enjoy and enhale daily. We miss you Grandpa and love you more each day.
