    Private Henare Korako (killed) was the only son of Tutehounuku Koraka, of Tuahiwi. His sisters, Tipu and Ema Korako, reside at Tuahiwi. His cousins, Whar Pohio, Oco, and S. Kuku, of Port Levy, are still on active service. He was educated at the local school. He is the third member of the great Te Rangiamoa tribe to be killed in the present war.
