Contains photocopied material. Typed transcript (photocopy) of a letter from Harry Norton, whilst aboard HMNZT No. 39 (S.S. 'Warrimoo'), to his daughter, dated 8 February 1916.
The following extract is taken from page 42:
"Dear Little Toddles, ... We have past Mt. Sainai [Sinai]. You will remember something about Moses & the Commandments and Mt Ararat is quite close too ... My dear little girl I am depending on you looking after Mother & Leonard. You will be very thoughtful I know and do lots of things for them that you know I would like. I can just picture you doing the dishes & dusting & Leonard filling the coal box & chopping the wood & weeding the garden ..."
