St. Stephen's Chapel (Auckland, N.Z.)

Parnell (Auckland, N.Z.)--Church history

The story of the two Chapels of St Stephen's in Judges Bay, Parnell, takes the reader into the earliest days of the Anglican Church in Auckland. The ill-fated stone building of 1844 had a significant place in the Maori community, whilst the second chapel of 1856 has significant historical meaning and continues as a place of worship today.

Published on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the signing of the first Constitution of the Anglican Church in Aotearoa New Zealand and Polynesia --t.p. verso. Bibliography: p. 21-23.
