Kato polapola. Coconut leaf basket. Kato polapola are woven from a single coconut leaf. They are an every day basket or bag which are easily and quickly made and have many uses. They are most commonly used for food gathering out in the plantation or out at sea. This kato polapola is neatly made and has two fau (hibiscus) fibre handles.
