Tiputa. Poncho. Made of tapa (barkcloth). Wide indentations formed in the process of beating the bark are visible across the tiputa. Tiputa is fringed and is decorated with depictions rendered in an orange/brown dye. "13952" is written in black ink near neckline and on reverse side near fringe. "13952 AITUTAKI" is written in black ink on reverse side near neckline. Mostly light brown/beige in overall colour. Brittle. Good condition.
