Collection of Auckland Museum Tāmaki Paenga Hira, 15441.1

The inhabitants of Kitwaw are remarkable for their shield dancing. The shield are used in the performance, held by the middle bar, by the dancer. Both ends are flat and carved in low relief, with pigments added.
