Kumete. Bowl. Used as a container to hold food or liquids. Kumete is egg shaped and carved from rakau (wood), with a spout carved into one side to pour contents. Circular, looped handle carved into long side. Handle is chipped. Rim of the kumete is cracked. Brown in colour.
