More. Waist garment. Made from strips of paeore (pandanus), and woven out in a twill weave. Overlaid dyed-red strips, possibly paeore, have been interwoven across the waist garment, forming geometric patterns including triangular shaped motifs. There are nine tassels made from strips of fau (hibiscus fibre), that each hang from braids, 2-ply, that are interwoven across the bottom area of the waistband.
