human history

i Cula ni Bokola. Carved from solid kau (wood) into a form consisting of four prongs and a wide, rounded handle. The prongs and the handle are partially decorated with rows of zig-zag, triangular shaped patterns. Between the top of the prongs and the handle are two prominent ridges. At the top-end of the handle is a circular shaped carving, with five in-laid pieces of bone. The prongs tapers from the top-end to the tips, where the prongs slightly protrude outwards. Brown in colour with surface patina.
