wooden pounder. decorated with three circular grooves at the top. raised ridge near distal end. NOT illustrated in 'Polynesian Artifacts'. Shaft flares from proximal end for 41cm until the raised ridge. Proximal end has three grooves carved around the knob. Shaft flares out from raised ridge to terminate in flat pounding surface.
