Hoe

Hoe. Paddle. This paddle is carved from wood into a long cylindrical shaft, tear-drop shaped rapa (paddle blade) and a further, rounded protrusion of wood at the rapa (paddle blade)'s apex. The rapa (paddle blade) is slightly curved. The paddle has surface scratching. It is brown in colour with some patina. Not illustrated in 'Polynesian Artifacts'.
