Te Bure. A pair of egg cowrie shells. This pair of bure (egg cowrie shells) are each perforated with a short cord of te kora (coconut sennit) threaded through to attach them together. Both of these bure are white in colour with a glossy surface, although there is a noticeable rust coloured spot on one shell, and a hole on its underside. Both bure have an orange interior.
