Tela makasi (half of tela kela). Cone shaped basket. Plaited In check with open leaflets. The commencement is from two strips of coconut midrib each with six leaflets attached. These form one half of the rim. Plaiting works to the base where there is a single cone shaped corner and then back up to rim. Then ends are taken into two three-ply braids which lead back into the plaiting at the midrib commensus.
