Plaited in right angle plaiting. Rectangular base. Sides fully covered with brightly coloured pattern of overlaid bast. This appears to have been included while the work was in progress (the pattern shows on the inside) but without colour. Triangular flap lid. Single shoulder cord (broken). Decorative braid around rim and ends of lid. Tie cords with tassles (one missing) to close
